Beth Neal established herself widely as a self-taught outsider artist until 2013 when she was accepted at West Dean College, Chichester. Studying and working at West Dean has inspired and influenced Beth to develop and transition her work into an imaginative and Surreal genre. Inspired by the works of artists such as Catherine Solomon, Miro Picasso, and Leonora Carrington, Beth's work has taken an exciting direction, creating surprising, thrilling, and vibrant imagery.
Eager and excited to explore this development, Beth has employed bold colors and used a variety of techniques - acrylics, silk oil, base watercolors, and many more mediums and prints. Along with a vivid complex imagination, Beth's use of imagery from the landscape along with complex imagination has enabled her to create an emotive tableau of images. This fusion has resulted in a stunning and exciting body of work that captures the imagination of her audience.
